About Imagine IT

A note from the President…

Hello and thank you so much for visiting our site. I would like to share a small bio of myself.  I have been offering a wide variety of proven consulting solutions for many years.

I started my foray into this technology world back in 1997 at a private technical school in Edmonton, Alberta called Network Learning Masters (NLM). This tech school was a crazy shock for me. I vividly remember getting my first book for a Novell Certified Administrator that was several hundred pages. I expected that we would use that book for a good part of the first semester. To my tearful surprise, we covered 20% of the book on the first day…welcome to tech school. That first night, I had to make a decision if I was going to continue on my planned tech path. After a few phone calls to trusted family and friends and much prayerful thought, I resolved to continue with my technical Education.

The format for NLM required an intense amount of self-motivation. The courses were instructor lead and then required hours of self-study to prepare for the required exams. I am proud to say that through my time at NLM, I was the first of about 16 students to complete my planned certification path. I came out of NLM with my first technical designations, I was officially a Certified Novell Engineer and a Microsoft Certified Professional.

In 1998 I moved to Red Deer and began my Career as a Computer Technician. I quickly became aware that I still had more to learn…a lot more. As the years went on, I continued my technical training and certifications to be better prepared to address the needs of the clients that I served. Some of the additional training and certifications I have attained over years include A+, Apple, Citrix, HP, IBM, Lenovo, VMware and WatchGuard.

Today, I am the President of Imagine IT Inc. I am married to my beautiful wife Brandi, and we have 3 wonderful children. I am actively involved in my church and I have the privilege of helping coach our children’s school sports teams as well as with Red Deer Minor Basketball. I believe in hard work; and with work must be a balance of leisure. My family is very important to me, and I strive purposefully make focused time to get to know them better. I value my friendships and I am learning every day how to be a better Husband, Father, and Friend.

I believe wholeheartedly in core values that I try my best to pattern. Honesty, Integrity, and Trust are statutes that I live by and they guide my daily actions; both personally and professionally.
